Why We Created This
Hey! I’m Krista, Co-Founder of Life Unhurried
Sleep was never a problem for me, until perimenopause hit.
I found it so hard to switch off at night, I fell into a nightly choccy habit that wasn’t doing my sleep (or my blood sugar) any favours, and once I finally fell asleep, I’d wake up at 3am completely wired.
Meanwhile, Celeste (my co-founder) was facing her own sleep battles (a 5 year old who didn’t like bedtime, a 3 year old who thought 2am was party time, and unrelenting deadlines for her weekly newspaper column).
Sleep was a minefield, and everywhere we looked, we saw other women feeling the same way as us: bloody tired, but unable to wind down.
Knowing that there had to be a better way, we did a tonne of research, teamed up with a product developer, and under the watchful eye of a naturopath, created what we couldn’t find: a delicious, functional, sugar-free night-time drink that actually supports relaxation and makes winding down easier.
Now, it’s my favourite part of the day. The moment I make a mug of SLEEP, PLEASE, I can literally feel my body go “ahhhh.”
