Like a luxury lumberjack’s shack, the Tasmanian timber-clad cottages throw all the right kinds of charm with king-sized beds, fireplaces, outdoor bath, vintage art and decor and a record player for spinning sweet tunes. Romance looks a little more outdoor adventurous here. Built with mountain-biking couples in mind (Blue Derby’s famed trails are just down the road), each private stay also includes bike wash down space and locked storage for your MTB adventures. Each cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen for meals in the cosy surrounds, or make your way to the communal area with barbecues, firepit and barrel sauna for laughs and Derby-adventure debriefs.
