Located in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, this 1940s original rail workers cottage is full of history and charm. Set on a private quarter acre, the cottage is just big enough for an intimate getaway with friends or time out with the family. Decorated with an eclectic collection of mid-century, antique and hand-made furniture and artwork, the owner (and one of our own Life Unhurried team, Katie) has used recycled and re-purposed objects throughout, each piece rummaged and saved over years of collecting. With a beautiful pool and large back deck, you’ll find yourself spending most of your time in the outside space where you can read, eat and swim. Make an outdoor fire in the evening and enjoy star gazing in the fresh country air. Only 20 minutes to the coast, and 10 minutes to Montville the cottage is a central location to enjoy everything the Sunshine Coast has on offer.
