Naivasha Tiny House
Reedy Marsh, TAS, Australia • Sleeps 2 | Bedrooms 1 | Bathroom 1
Seclusion is set to max at Naivasha Tiny House. This clandestine cabin in a clearing in the Tasmanian woods may be small in stature but its diminutive size is offset by its extra large spirit. While the exact location isn’t revealed until after booking, rest assured that the lively and historic town of Deloraine is naught but five minutes away. Made for antique hunters with a penchant for sustainable design and a good story, the rainwater and renewable-powered cabin was built locally using reclaimed materials and sustainable practices – to owner Linda’s exacting design. Secondhand and locally made decor adorns the walls, all lovingly curated with the goal of highlighting the rich history of the area. As for switching off… The hot tub will be almost impossible to leave but inside there’s a clawfoot bath and a cosy wood fire to continue the warm glow. Add complimentary port, lush linen bedding and an over-bed skylight and you’ve got a tiny home experience like no other. Working on that manuscript isn’t out of the question, either. Speedy WiFi and a TV with Netflix are mod-con concessions to the solitude.Â
