By definition a cabin is simplistic poetry– a small wooden shelter in the wild; a place to hide away from the clutches of conformity. Everything about Secret Cabin Society has been designed to pare life back to basics; to redefine necessities and what makes you happy. Not that anything about this stay is basic. The owners spent 10 years living in a shed on the property before creating this magical cabin for guests, flanked by a clear running stream, stocked with homegrown organic dragonfruit, custard apples and wild raspberries (when in season), with a rainwater-fed outdoor shower in the rainforest.
Things we love
“Opt to plant a tree to leave your footprint here and rest easy knowing 14% of your payment is donated to a local not for profit called Spirit Hive, an organisation working towards suicide prevention.”
~ Cathy Fitzgerald, Secret Cabin Society
