Supremely private and oh so pretty, The River Escape is a bespoke glamping experience set on a flower farm four hours north of Brisbane, overlooking a stunning riverscape and rustic heritage bridge where native birdlife thrives. After days spent swimming or kayaking in the Burnett River, exploring the nearby township of Gayndah – Queensland’s citrus capital – and relaxing in your hanging chairs, dinner is served under the stars with dessert and marshmallows to roast in the fire afterwards. In fact, all meals and drinks are provided, from breakfast, through to dinner (along with desserts, morning and afternoon teas), using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Perfect for couples, or small groups up to five people, a limit of one booking at a time ensures complete privacy for you to unwind with the option of adding a little pampering via a luxurious facial or massage by the river.
